Dare We Hope?

And now, an update for all of you who love (as I do) the "bad reality" genre of television.

In a recent interview, Tiffany “New York” Pollard said that although she loves pursuing a career as a film actress (a path which was chronicled in the 2008 VH1 reality series New York Goes to Hollywood), her first love is reality television and that she plans to return to reality in the near future. Translation: her attempt at being an actress failed miserably, and she’s returning to the one and only place in this world in which she can make money just by being herself: reality television on VH1.

So… dare we hope that this return to reality means that I Love New York 3 will finally see the light of day? If you remember from the finale of New York Goes to Hollywood (you DID watch New York Goes to Hollywood, didn’t you???), the gang from 51 Minds Entertainment offered Tiffany the opportunity to continue to televised quest for love with another season of the I Love New York dating-show franchise. However, Tiffany turned down the opportunity, citing her desire to pursue a career as a serious actress.Well, with the apparent failure of her acting career… and the failure of her relationship with George (“Tailor Made” from I Love New York 2), it would seem that the planets and stars are aligned perfectly for a return to the so-bad-it's-good horrificness of I Love New York.

I know that I shouldn’t… but I’m getting my hopes up. Don’t disappoint me Tiffany!
