And The Loser Is...

With the official 2009-2010 television season only five days old, we already have our first cancellation of the season. This dubious distinction belongs to The CW's The Beautiful Life: TBL. This mess of a supermodel soap (brought to us by good ol' Ashton Kutcher) dropped to under one million viewers this week (in only its second telecast)... a number, apparently, not good enough for even the Nielsen-challenged The CW. Sorry, Ashton.

Look for repeats of The CW's revival of Melrose Place to fill the Wednesday time slot for a while.
